The Pole already had history against Die Fuggerstädter with 13 goals in 11 Bundesliga appearances, and his hat-trick has boosted those figures even further to 16 in 12. He also provided the assists for two more of Bayern’s goals.

Lewandowski’s perfect hat-trick of left foot, right foot and header now takes his tally for the season to 24 and moves him level with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang at the head of the race for the Torjägerkanone.
