Only Moritz Hartmann is currently injured for Ingolstadt, although Mathew Leckie misses out on Sunday due to suspension and will likely be replaced by Anthony Jung. The only other doubt coach Maik Walpurgis has is whom to choose in defence between Marcel Tisserand and Roger, with the former facing a late fitness test.

Gladbach were in UEFA Europa League action again on Thursday, with a return trip from Florence on Friday. Coach Dieter Hecking will therefore assess the fitness of his players once back from Italy, as well as keeping his fingers crossed that Raffael's recovery advances enough for him to make a return to the team.
