Kostantinos Stafylidis had a stomach infection this week which means his inclusion on Friday night will be determined late on. His lack of training could see him relegated to the bench anyway, with Dominik Kohr back from suspension and therefore able to make an immediate return to the starting XI.

Ömer Toprak is suspended after picking up his fifth booking of the season last week so Aleksandar Dragovic will replace him. With one eye on next week's UEFA Champions League tie with Club Atletico de Madrid, there is a chance that coach Roger Schmidt also rests some other key players and gives the likes of Charles Aranguiz or Kevin Volland a chance.
