Gladbach have just two full days of rest following their UEFA Europa League defeat to ACF Fiorentina on Thursday night and this lack of time may convince Dieter Hecking to make a few amendments to his starting XI. Raffael could return with Patrick Herrmann making way, while Tobias Strobl is out due to suspension.

Watch: Highlights of Gladbach's 1-0 win over SV Werder Bremen on Matchday 20:

Leipzig have no European commitments to concern them – yet – and their coach Ralph Hasenhüttl only really has one necessary change to make, with Willi Orban suspended. Yussuf Poulsen is not a candidate either due to the thigh strain he picked up shortly after entering the action last weekend, and this could pave the way for Davie Selke to make a rare starting appearance for the Red Bulls.

Watch: Highlights of Leipzig's 3-0 defeat by Hamburger SV on Matchday 20.
