A Borussia Dortmund fan has painstakingly built a to-scale replica of the club's Signal Iduna Park - entirely out of Lego bricks.

Rainer Nowak, a freelance artist, needed 3,000 hours to complete the project, and did so without the help of an instructional manual. The finished article is five metres long, two metres wide, 1.7 metres tall, and weighs approximately 600 kilograms.

Nowak said he had fulfilled his dream of "creating something unbelievable out of Lego blocks". The stadium is set to be sold at auction, with all proceeds going directly to help social projects.
