Heinz Lindner (Eintracht Frankfurt, 10 points)

With first-choice goalkeeper Lukas Hradecky suspended following his red card against RB Leipzig on Matchday 17, Heinz Lindner made his full Bundesliga debut against FC Schalke 04. Making a number of key saves from the likes of Guido Burgstaller and Daniel Caligiuri, the 26-year-old ensured the Eagles returned home with all three points.

Markus Suttner (FC Ingolstadt 04, 13 points)

Scorer of a fabulous free-kick, Markus Suttner helped propel Die Schanzer out of the relegation zone at the expense of Hamburger SV.

Jesus Vallejo (Eintracht Frankfurt, 12 points)

Bouncing back from the defeat to Leipzig - a game in which he scored an own goal - Jesus Vallejo was at his commanding best against Schalke, registering six points alone for won duels.

Gotoku Sakai (Hamburger SV, 12 points)

Gotoku Sakai scored a stunning consolation goal against Ingolstadt and picked up nine points in the challenge.

David Alaba (FC Bayern München, 13 points)

Aided and abetted by a superb free-kick against SV Werder Bremen, David Alaba racked up 13 points as Bayern recorded their sixth successive Bundesliga win.

Almog Cohen (FC Ingolstadt 04, 16 points)

The Matchday 18 ensemble's highest-scoring midfielder, Almog Cohen weighed in with five shots on goal before adding his name to the scoresheet from the penalty spot.

Naby Keita (RB Leipzig, 13 points)

Naby Keita shone as Leipzig ended TSG 1899 Hoffenheim's undefeated run, accumulating invaluable points for minutes played, won duels and assists.

Pascal Groß (FC Ingolstadt 04, 13 points)

Taking his place in the Official Fantasy Bundesliga Team of the Week for the second time, Pascal Groß picked up eight points combined for his goal and duels won, as well as a few bonuses for ending up on the winning side and completing the full 90 minutes.

Alexander Meier (Eintracht Frankfurt, 15 points)

Lars Stindl scored twice in the space of five second-half minutes as Gladbach hit back from 2-0 down to beat Bayer 04 Leverkusen.

Yuya Osako (1. FC Köln, 17 points)

With two goals and an assist punctuating an eye-catching display in Köln's 6-1 drubbing of SV Darmstadt 98, Yuya Osako tops the Matchday 18 charts. The Japan international also picked up bonus points for his brace and going the distance.
