Macthday 17 action - as it happened!
After a month-long winter hiatus, the Bundesliga returned on Friday as FC Bayern München left it late to take all three points away to SC Freiburg in the Matchday 17 opener, but Dortmund, Hoffenheim and Leipzig all managed wins to keep up the pressure on the leaders.

There was plenty of action on Matchday 17 as Borussia Dortmund stepped up their Champions League ambitions with a win at SV Werder Bremen, and RB Leipzig dispatched top-four rivals Eintracht Frankfurt to get 2017 off to a great start.
