The winger was a constant menace to the Hamburg back line, putting in a fine display that culminated in him delivering a perfect cross for Mario Gomez to head in an 82nd-minute winning goal. The new boy departed the field to a standing ovation seven minutes later and received plenty of praise from coach Valerien Ismael afterwards: "That's why we bought him, because he's unpredictable."
