SV Werder Bremen head coach Alexander Nouri has a near fully fit squad from which to choose ahead of welcoming 1. FC Köln this weekend. Luca Caldirola and Izet Hajrovic are still out, but Nouri is likely to continue with the line-up that picked up a crucial 1-0 win at Hertha Berlin on Matchday 14.

The Billy-Goats' lengthy absentee list has another name on it this week: Salih Özcan, who is suspended after being sent off late on in the 1-1 draw with Borussia Dortmund last weekend. With Timo Horn, Dominic Maroh, Leonardo Bittencourt, Matthias Lehmann and Marcel Risse all out, the recoveries from injury of Simon Zoller and Marco Höger have come at a perfect time for Peter Stöger.
