The major news to emerge from FC Augsburg this week is that the club have parted ways with head coach Dirk Schuster. Interim coach Manuel Baum inherits a squad decimated by injuries: Caiuby, Alfred Finnbogason and Raul Bobadilla remain out. On top of their absences, midfielder Dominik Kohr was sent off in Matchday 14's 1-0 defeat at Hamburger SV and so will sit this one out. Defender Jeffrey Gouweleeuw and midfielder Ja-Cheol Koo are available again following injury, however.

Borussia Mönchengladbach coach Andre Schubert will be without Fabian Johnson this weekend, the American wide man suffering from a damaged Achilles. Captain Lars Stindl "is suffering with the flu and probably won't be able to play", but holding midfielder Christoph Kramer is available again following illness.
