FC Bayern München coach Pep Guardiola has been nominated for the FIFA World Coach of the Year for Men's Football.

Impressive 2015

The Catalan tactician is up for the award alongside FC Barcelona head coach Luis Enrique and Chile head coach Jorge Sampaoli.

Guardiola's Bayern side swept all challengers on the domestic front in 2015, winning the Bundesliga in style. The Bavarians also reached the last four of the DFB Cup and the UEFA Champions League, where they were knocked out by Enrique's Barcelona, the eventual winners.

The German record champions have begun in impressive fashion in the top-flight so far this season, Guardiola continuing his record of never losing a game in the first half of a season courtesy of a 2-0 victory over Hertha Berlin on Matchday 14.

The winner will be announced at the FIFA Ballon d’Or award ceremony at the Kongresshaus in Zurich on 11 January 2016.
