Roger put in an imperious performance as FC Ingolstadt became the first team to ever record a Bundesliga victory over RB Leipzig, grabbing the only goal of the game and stopping the eastern upstarts from scoring multiple times at the other end.
Roger – normally a midfielder – started the game at centre-back and looked comfortable throughout. The Brazilian headed home the opening goal on 12 minutes, and made sure Die Schanzer never relinquished their lead with an imperious performance that also took in two last-ditch blocks from Oliver Burke and Timo Werner. It was an historic defeat for Leipzig, but did their chief tormentor do enough to earn your vote for #BLMVP?
