SC Freiburg head coach Christian Streich said his side "need to be better than good", but will be forced to make at least two changes to his starting line-up with centre-back Caglar Söyüncü and top scorer Maximilian Philipp both unavailable for selection. Manuel Gulde and Olympic silver medalist Nils Petersen are expected to feature in their stead, while Christian Günter, back from suspension, should slot in at left-back.
