FC Schalke 04 duo Nabil Bentaleb and Max Meyer could miss Sunday’s clash after sustaining knocks in the 2-0 UEFA Europa League victory over OGC Nice on Thursday. Bentaleb suffered a broken nose, while Germany international Meyer was taken off with an ankle injury.

SV Darmstadt 98 will be without Roman Bezjak and Immanuel Höhn for the trip to Gelsenkirchen. Slovenia striker Bezjak remains sidelined with a toe injury and is likely to return to action next week, but former SC Freiburg defender Höhn is set for a lengthier spell in the treatment room after breaking his foot in training on Wednesday.
