Belgium international Thorgan Hazard is expected to return in attack after missing Borussia Mönchengladbach’s 1-1 draw with Manchester City FC in the UEFA Champions League due to personal reasons. Guinea international winger Ibrahima Traore is a doubt after picking up a knock in midweek, but influential midfielder Christoph Kramer is available again following suspension.

Hoffenheim will be without defender Kevin Vogt, who suffered an adductor injury in the 2-2 draw with Hamburger SV last weekend. Ermin Bicakcic was his replacement on Matchday 11, but Fabian Schär is another viable alternative at Julian Nagelsmann’s disposal. Forwards Mark Uth and Eduardo Vargas are also pushing for a starting berth, with Andrej Kramaric having failed to score in his last four outings.
