Chicharito devotes goal to Mexicans affected by Tropical Storm Patricia

Leverkusen - Javier 'Chicharito' Hernandez has dedicated his goal in Bayer 04 Leverkusen's 4-3 victory over VfB Stuttgart on Saturday afternoon to those affected by Tropical Storm Patricia in his homeland Mexico.

"This goal is for all the people from my beautiful Jalisco and all of Mexico," the striker tweeted in the aftermath of his side's win. "I wish you all the best during these times."

Jalisco affected

Hernandez was born in the city of Guadalajara, capital of Jalisco state, which has been affected by the tropical storm.

After netting a brace as Bayer came from behind to draw 4-4 with AS Roma in the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday evening, Hernandez scored the third goal as die Werkself beat Stuttgart on Bundesliga Matchday 10 thanks to Admir Mehmedi's late strike.
