Thiago Alcantara, Javi Martinez and Manuel Neuer are all back in full training with Bayern Munich ahead of Saturday's Matchday 2 encounter with Werder Bremen.

Thiago was sent home early from Bayern's pre-season tour of Asia after sustaining a calf injury that kept him out of the season-opening win against Bayer Leverkusen.

However, the Spain international was in impish mood as he and his team-mates entertained the 2000-strong crowd gathered at Bayern's Säbener Strasse training centre to see Carlo Ancelotti put his squad through their paces.

Martinez, who was forced off the pitch with a calf injury during the second half of Bayern's Supercup win over Borussia Dortmund, also returned while Neuer's comeback from the broken foot he sustained late last season is almost complete.

Only Jerome Boateng and James Rodriguez remain in the Bayern treatment room.
