Bayern Munich draw Borussia Dortmund in DFB Cup last 16
German, and indeed world football, will be treated to an extra Klassiker contest in 2017 after Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund were drawn together in the last 16 of the DFB Cup.
The Bundesliga juggernauts – who have contested two of the last four finals – will face off at the Allianz Arena on either the 19th or 20th of December, with the date to be confirmed henceforth.
Dortmund are the defending champions having beaten Eintracht Frankfurt 2-1 in May to win the competition for the fourth time in their history.
