Gellhaus appointed new Paderborn coach

Paderborn - Markus Gellhaus has been appointed as new SC Paderborn 07 head coach.

The 45-year-old succeeds Andre Breitenreiter, who departed the relegated club to take the reins at FC Schalke 04.

Gellhaus turned out as a player for TuS Paderborn-Neuhaus and then spent eight years working at SC Paderborn in various capacities. Most recently, he was assistant coach to Jos Luhukay at Hertha Berlin, FC Augsburg and Borussia Mönchengladbach.
