Bremen - Austrian international midfielder has signed a three-year contract extension with SV Werder Bremen, keeping him at the club until 30 June 2018.
The free-kick specialist moved to the Weserstadion from Fußballklub Austria Wien in 2012 and has gone on to make 90 appearances in Germany's top flight.
'Heading in the right direction'
"In the last few years, Werder's become like a second home to me and you can all see we're heading in the right direction on the pitch," Junuzovic explained. "I put pen to paper convinced that this team, with the backroom staff and above all these fans are capable of achieving something very special." The 27-year-old has been integral to the Green-Whites' revival under Viktor Skripnik, scoring his fourth goal of the campaign as Bremen moved up to eighth in the standings courtesy of a 2-1 home win over Bayer 04 Leverkusen last weekend.
