Berlin/ Belek - Hertha Berlin are the sixth Bundesliga side to spend a bit of time in the popular Turkish resort of Belek this winter.

The Old Lady fly out on 18 January and return six days later in plenty of time for their opening fixture of the Rückrunde away to SV Werder Bremen on 1 February.

A piece of five-star luxury awaits the capital club in Turkey's Antalya Province. Hertha will be staying at the very modern-looking Hotel Cornelia Diamond, with its classy living quarters dotted along a snaking swimming pool as well as on-site training facilities just a stone's throw from the main building.

Jos Luhukay's side opened their account for the new year with a 3-1 friendly win over Hallescher FC, before being held to a 1-1 draw by FC Energie Cottbus. Swiss side BSC Young Boys lie in wait in Belek on 20 January, with one more fixture against either SpVgg Greuther Fürth or FC Thun pencilled in for three days later.

Agreeable weather? Check. Beautiful beaches? Check. Hearty cuisine? Check. Stunning vistas? Check. Immaculate golf courses? Check. Belek is a tourist hotspot for a reason, so don't expect to see any thumb-twiddling Twitter snaps from the Hertha camp while they're away.
