Cologne - There were plenty of worthy candidates on Matchday 10 in the Bundesliga, but it was 's second of the afternoon in SV Werder Bremen's first win of the season at 1. FSV Mainz 05 that got your thumbs-up for Goal of the Week.

Finishing boots

The Argentine showed a great first touch to bring Felix Kroos' clever through-ball under wraps, before clipping an audacious side-footed finish over Loris Karius with the goal that takes him joint-top of the leading scorers' charts on six for the season.

Di Santo took 45 per cent of the vote, with FC Bayern München's having to settle for second place (20 per cent). It was almost inevitable that the Polish international would get on the scoresheet in his first league meeting with former club Borussia Dortmund, his instinctive strike proving the turning point in a classy 2-1 success for Pep Guardiola's men.

BVB's opened the scoring at the Allianz Arena with only the second headed goal of his Bundesliga career (16 per cent). The 25-year-old called on the magic step ladders to outjump Bayern centre-backs Jerome Boateng and Medhi Benatia and power home, but credit has to go to Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang for a fine run and assist.

Lung-busting run

There was another contender for alley-oop of the season in Friday's opener between FC Schalke 04 and FC Augsburg after Japanese international right-back Atsuto Uchida ran 66 metres, before squaring for Klaas-Jan Huntelaar to sink the only goal of the game. A must-see move, it was only enough for the Dutchman to take 15 per cent of the poll, with Borussia Mönchengladbach's Andre Hahn completing the ballot (four per cent) thanks to a fine volleyed effort in Sunday's 3-1 win at home to TSG 1899 Hoffenheim.
