Frankfurt - There was no doubt about which side deserved three points at the Commerzbank Arena on Sunday with a general consensus that FC Augsburg were good value for their 1-0 win.

FC Augsburg

bundesliga.com has the players' thoughts on Sunday's action in Frankfurt...

Raul Bobadilla: We had two or three huge chances in the first half and, after taking the lead, we then fought to the end and gave it everything. We were excellent right through the team, from defence to attack.

Tobias Werner: I think we deserved to win, especially given the way we played, the chances we created and above all the way we defended. We could've made things a bit easier on ourselves but we gave everything we had and we’re proud to be going home with three points. I don’t think I’ll sleep very well tonight as I could have given the fans, the coach and my team-mates an easier time of it if I’d scored another one.

Halil Altintop: We got into the game well and gave it all we had, which is precisely what we intended to do. We're pleased with these three points and we were unlucky not to have sealed things earlier.

Kevin Trapp: We were definitely worse than we have been in the last few weeks. I don’t know why that is, but I can’t imagine that it was down to our fitness. We were okay in the first half but didn’t do enough after the break and I don’t think we had any chances at all, we lost possession countless times. If you only take the second half into consideration then we definitely deserved to lose. We'll have to work on the things we did so poorly today.
