Next glimpse of new Bayern recruit Benatia
Munich - FC Bayern München newcomer Medhi Benatia took part in team training for the first time on Monday.

The Moroccan international captain, who joined the club on 27 August from Italian side AS Roma, had recently been pursuing an individual programme owing to a minor muscular strain.
Fellow defender Holger Badstuber and goalkeeper Pepe Reina also took part in Monday's session, but
(ankle) and
(foot) sat out. "It's important that these players are available again as soon as possible," said Bayern sporting director Matthias Sammer. The record German champions, who have picked up four points from their first two Bundesliga encounters of the season, welcome VfB Stuttgart to the Allianz Arena this weekend, before locking horns with Manchester City FC in their opening group stage fixture of the 2014/15 UEFA Champions League on 16 September.
