Frankfurt - Eintracht Frankfurt have announced the signature of Swiss international forward Haris Seferovic from Real Sociedad de Futbol.

All-round delight

The 22-year-old, who featured in all four of Switzerland's games at the 2014 FIFA World Cup, has penned a three-year deal and will wear the number nine shirt next season.

"We're absolutely delighted that this transfer has worked out for us," said Frankfurt's sporting director Bruno Hübner. "We intentionally chose a young player who already has a relatively high level of experience, but still has plenty of potential to improve."

The former ACF Fiorentina striker is the second new forward to join Thomas Schaaf's side this week after ex-Borussia Dortmund favourite Nelson Valdez returned to the Bundesliga from Abu Dhabi outfit al-Jazira Club on Tuesday. "I'm so pleased that everything has worked out," Seferovic told www.eintracht.de. "I'm really looking forward to the challenge."
