Sell-out crowd for Supercup meeting of Dortmund and Bayern

Munich - Borussia Dortmund and FC Bayern München will contest the first silverware of 2014/15 to the backdrop of a capacity 80,667 crowd at BVB's Signal Iduna Park on 13 August.

The season curtain-raising DFL Supercup between the Bundesliga runners-up and the league and DFB Cup double winners was officially declared sold-out on Tuesday 22 July.

The contest, which could feature up to 11 2014 FIFA World Cup winners, kicks off at 18:00 CEST. Last year's meeting between these same two sides was shown live in 204 out of 209 FIFA member states.
