Paderborn - SC Paderborn have extended terms with Saliou Sane for a further year, through to 30 June 2016, while simultaneously announcing the 21-year-old forward will spend the coming season on loan at Third Division Holstein Kiel.

Sane, who joined Paderborn last summer from Regional League outfit TSV Havelse along with head coach Andre Breitenreiter and midfielder Marc Vucinovic, turned out nine times for the club in their promotion-winning season, scoring once in a 4-2 victory at VfR Aalen.

“We're absolutely convinced of Saliou's potential. At Kiel he has the opportunity of regular first-team football to help further his progress," sporting director Michael Born said of the contract extension and parallel loan move.
