Hanover – Sebastien Pocognoli has taken his leave of Hannover 96 and the Bundesliga to try his hand in the English Premier League with West Bromwich Albion.

The 26-year-old left-back, who has turned out twelve times for Belgium, joined Hannover from R. Standard de Liege at the start of 2013 and went on to play 33 games for the 96ers in the Bundesliga, DFB Cup and UEFA Europa League.

“I think this transfer is a sensible move for the player himself and for Hannover 96. We'd like to wish Poco all the best for the future,” Hannover sporting director Dirk Dufner said.
