DFL sets release date for 2014/15 fixture list
Frankfurt - The Deutsche Fußball Liga (DFL) has announced the fixture list release date for the 2014/15 Bundesliga and Bundesliga 2 seasons.
The schedule will be unveiled at a press conference on 24 June, revealing, among much else, who champions FC Bayern München will play host to on 22 August in the opening game of what will be the 52nd Bundesliga campaign.
As has been the case in recent years, the Bundesliga 2 programme will get off to an earlier start, with the 18 second-flight clubs in action from 1 August 2014 onwards.
