Frankfurt/Main – The German League Association licencing committee has approved the licences of all 36 Bundesliga and Bundesliga 2 applicants for the 2014/15 season.

“On the back of a rigorous audit, the licencing committee will be issuing licences for the coming season to all the applicants. Those clubs given a conditional licence in the first phase of the process have fulfilled the required stipulations,” said committee chairman Harald Strutz.

A total of 49 clubs and capital companies from the Bundesliga down to the Third Division submitted applications for 2014/15 at the start of the year. As well as examining each club and capital society's financial situation, the DFL Deutsche Fußball Liga GmbH also assesses specific infrastructural, legal, administrative, media-technological and sporting criteria in accordance with the licencing regulations. In Autumn, each club has a statutory obligation to reconfirm its economic viability.
