Hertha sign Plattenhardt from Nürnberg
Berlin - Hertha Berlin have snapped up left-back from 1. FC Nürnberg for next season, on a contract through to June 2017.
Plattenhardt, 22, established himself as a first-team regular at Nürnberg over the campaign just ended, making 30 starting appearances in a season which ultimately ended in the disappointment of relegation for der Club. A member of the Germany U-17 side which won the European title in 2009, he has also turned out seven times for the U-21s.
