Neuer and Lahm good to go for World Cup

Munich – There was good news for German national team coach Joachim Löw on Monday, as FC Bayern München confirmed that injuries to goalkeeper and skipper Philipp Lahm will not keep either player out of the upcoming FIFA World Cup finals in Brazil.

Lahm to rest up for the week

A thorough examination by club doctor Hans-Wilhelm Müller-Wohlfahrt revealed that Neuer suffered a slight tear to his right shoulder joint capsule during Bayern's in Saturday's DFB Cup final. The 28-year-old Germany no1 will nonetheless join up as planned with the rest of Löw's provisional finals squad when they head out to their training camp in South Tyrol on Wednesday.
