Langerak called up to preliminary Australia squad
Canberra - Borussia Dortmund goalkeeper was one of three names from Germany's top two divisions to be called up to Australia head coach Ange Postecoglou's provisional 30-man squad for next month's FIFA World Cup.
The 25-year-old will be joined in the preliminary ensemble by FSV Frankfurt midfielder and Fortuna Düsseldorf striker of Bundesliga 2, while Bayer 04 Leverkusen's Robbie Kruse, who is still some way from full fitness after tearing anterior ligaments in his left knee in January, was inevitably left out.
The Socceroos will face Chile, the Netherlands and holders Spain in Group C.
