Wolfsburg - Both VfL Wolfsburg and Borussia Mönchengladbach sealed their place in next season's UEFA Europa League after the Wolves' 3-1 victory over Gladbach at the Volkswagen Arena on Matchday 34.

VfL Wolfsburg

bundesliga.com rounds up the key players' post-match reaction...

Ivan Perisic: We played well and deserve the win. There was also bad luck invovled at times today - I for example hit both posts and the bar with one shot - but we still managed to win the three points. We've finished fifth this term, but we have to push on.

Kevin De Bruyne: I think we played very well as a team, just like we have in the last few games. We deserved the victory, even though Mönchengladbach are a very strong team. We created many chances and if you score three times, you deserve to win.

Ricardo Rodriguez: We were focused from the first minute and managed to put Gladbach under pressure. The three points were very important for us today. We're in the Europa League now, and I'm happy with that.

Borussia Mönchengladbach

Marc-Andre ter Stegen: It was a strange feeling to feature for Borussia for the last time. You can't really prepare yourself for something like that, but at the moment I'm more disappointed that we lost the game anyway. Wolfsburg were very strong and deserved the victory, however. They created many chances and if you concede three goals, it's almost impossible to win at a place like Wolfsburg.

Max Kruse: We've finished sixth and qualified for the Europa League, so we can be satisfied with our efforts this season. Looking at the numbers, it's been a good season for me on a personal level and I have to thank my team-mates for that.

Tony Jantschke: We could have put Wolfsburg under real pressure if we'd opened the scoring, but they managed to go 1-0 up following a counter-attack. Both teams had chances in the second half, yet Wolfsburg deserved the win. I'm disappointed that we lost, but happy that we finished sixth.
