Munich - The FC Bayern München camp made it pretty clear the Meisterschale jamboree was well worth the wait following Saturday's 1-0 win over demoralised VfB Stuttgart.

FC Bayern München

Arjen Robben: It's so long now since we actually secured the title - now we can finally celebrate. It's a good feeling. We can round off a great season with a win in the DFB Cup final [against Borussia Dortmund] next week. The Cup final's one of the best games around. It's one we all, including all German fans, look forward to.

Claudio Pizarro: It's important that we won today because now we can really celebrate. The fans have been brilliant all season and we're really proud of what we've won so far.

Philipp Lahm: It's always great to receive the title. We've won one and now we want to clinch a second. It's been a good season, but it will be a really good one if we can bring home the DFB Cup next Saturday.

Dante: I'm delighted. We've worked really, really hard this season. We're not done yet, but we should enjoy this moment.

Toni Kroos: We deserve to be champions. There are no favourites in the DFB Cup final, however. We play again in a week's time, and we all need to be on top of or game to beat Dortmund.

VfB Stuttgart

Sven Ulreich: We wanted to put on the right sort of performance in the final game of the season. On the whole that worked out well, but the goal we conceded is just typical of the way things have gone for us this term.

Christian Gentner: It’s a real shame [we lost] because we put on a good performance here today. The goal we conceded was symptomatic of the entire campaign, it's something we need to put behind us.
