Hoffenheim ready to promote the Bundesliga in India
Sinsheim - 1899 Hoffenheim will close out their 2013/14 Bundesliga campaign with a one-week trip to India (11-19 May). Alongside promoting the Bundesliga, the club will also take part in various social projects in the country.
Hoffenheim as “international ambassadors”
In close cooperation with the club’s main sponsor SAP, a German multi-national software corporation, the Sinsheim outfit will initiate four new projects. The team will also visit schools and football clubs in Kolkata, Goa and Aizawl and take part in training sessions with local children, amongst other activities.
In Calcutta, the squad is scheduled to visit a local orphanage, while the sporting highlight of the trip will be a friendly encounter with a select XI from the state of Mizoram, which will take place in the mountainous region of Aizawl (Tuesday 13 May, 16:30 CET).
