Augsburg - Hamburger SV's Bundesliga future has rarely looked bleaker than it does after Matchday 32's 3-1 defeat at FC Augsburg, who could still be set to embark on their first European tour next season.

bundesliga.com brings you the reaction from Sunday's south-north clash.

Andre Hahn: I just took a chance with the shot and was surprised it went in, but you've got to try to get lucky. We showed more will power, were stronger in the challenges and that's why we came out on top today. I'm delighted to be giving my all for Augsburg. We've got two games left and I won't let up.

Halil Altintop: We knew there was a lot riding on this match for Hamburg, so the character we showed was great. We've got a fantastic balance in this side. I just play a part in a successful team. Wins like this are a bonus, but it says a lot about the quality of this side that we kept pushing.

Marcell Jansen: We seemed to concede every time they crossed the ball. We made life very difficult for ourselves both going forward and at the back. The fans have every right not to be happy, but there's nothing to analyse. All we can do is keep fighting.

Rene Adler: We were asleep in the first half even though we went into the game determined to play well. Sometimes I think are higher powers involved [speaking on Andre Hahn’s goal, which he fumbled into his on net]. I prepared as well and as thoroughly as I always do but things like that just happen.
