Braunschweig - Patience proved quite the virtue as Bundesliga champions FC Bayern München battled to a 2-0 win at rock-bottom Eintracht Braunschweig on Saturday.

bundesliga.com rounds up the thoughts of some of those involved at the Eintracht Stadion...

Thomas Müller: Today was a real test of our fighting spirit. We coped well with the challenge, but it was a very tough game and the atmosphere was fantastic. We didn't play that well, but the opposition made it very difficult for us. We fought well, though, and remained patient.

Claudio Pizarro: It was important for us to win before the game against Real Madrid - it gives us confidence. It's always nice to score as a striker. I'm very happy with the goal.

Philipp Lahm: It's feels good to be travelling back home with the three points in the bag. I thought we played well, particularly in the second half. In the end, we did well to get the victory.

Matthias Henn: We can be very happy with our performance in the first 70 minutes, but it’s a shame we conceded the opening goal. Our opponents showed patience and Pizarro and Mandzukic took the chances they had. We would have liked to have taken a point.

Mirko Boland: We gave our all, but we're in a relegation battle and need points. We just need to carry on - we still have three finals to play this season.
