Munich - FC Bayern München goalkeeper expects to have recovered from injury in time for Wednesday's UEFA Champions League semi-final first leg away to Real Madrid CF.

Rafinha suspended; Alaba out

The Germany international had to sit out Wednesday's DFB Cup semi-final win over 1. FC Kaiserslautern after bruising a calf muscle in last weekend's 3-0 defeat to Borussia Dortmund, but he was able to resume light training on Thursday. "I feel really good," he told FCB.tv News. "I'm sure I'll be fit to play on Wednesday."

Saturday's trip to Eintracht Braunschweig will, however, come too soon for the 28-year-old custodian, with Lukas Raeder set to make his full Bundesliga debut after coming on at half time against Dortmund and keeping goal at home to Kaiserslautern in the cup.

Serving the first game of a three-match suspension, right-back Rafinha will also miss out at Braunschweig's Eintracht-Stadion, while Austrian international David Alaba has been ruled out with a throat infection.
