Munich - When you weren't busy posing for #Meisterselfies, you took time out to vote for your standout performer from Matchday 27 in the Bundesliga.

Fährmann heroics

After the votes have been counted and verified, bundesliga.com can now reveal the winner...

FC Schalke 04 custodian Ralf Fährmann (44 per cent) takes the crown on this occasion, following his body-on-the-line performance in Tuesday's Revierderby draw with local rivals Borussia Dortmund. The 25-year-old pulled off one jaw-dropping save after the other to ensure a deserved share of the spoils and keep the Royal Blues firmly on course for an automatic place in next season's UEFA Champions League.

Some way off in second, meanwhile, was FC Bayern München maestro Mario Götze (22 per cent). The former BVB hero grabbed his side's second and laid on the third for Franck Ribery in a comfortable 3-1 win over Hertha Berlin that secured the decorated club their 24th national title (23rd Bundesliga crown) with a record seven games to spare. The Memmingen native has now scored eight top-flight goals in his debut season in the Bavarian capital.

Son outshines the rest

In at three came Bayer 04 Leverkusen's Heung-Min Son. The South Korean pin-up was on the scoresheet for the ninth time in the league this term as die Werkself hit back from a goal down to see off FC Augsburg 3-1 to end a nine-match winless streak and hold off the chasing pack in the race for Champions League football.

On the subject of neck-and-neck tussles, only the odd per cent separated the remaining candidates at the foot of our weekly poll, with Eintracht Braunschweig captain Domi Kumbela's (eight per cent) brace just enough to keep VfL Wolfsburg's Maximilian Arnold (six per cent) and fellow two-goal hero, 1. FC Nürnberg striker Josip Drmic (four per cent) at arm's length.
