Nürnberg - Neither 1. FC Nürnberg nor FC Schalke 04 were happy at having to settle for a share of the spoils after the two teams played out a 0-0 draw at the Grunding Stadion.

FC Schalke 04

bundesliga.com rounds up what the players had to say after the final whistle...

Max Meyer: We didn't play well. We didn't get going in the first half - we played far too passively and gave Nürnberg too many chances. Ralf Fährmann saved us on more than one occasion. We were better in the second half, but we still didn't play that well, so we have to be satisfied with the point.

Roman Neustädter: We sat far too deep in the first half and let Nürnberg attack us. We've got Ralf Fährmann to thank for the clean sheet. We finally found our rhythm in the second half, but our final ball let us down. Nürnberg have improved in recent weeks - they play good football and it's not easy to play against them.

1. FC Nürnberg

Josip Drmic: I'm disappointed because I had many chances to score, but I thought we played well. After the winter break, we'll do everything we can to get that first win. I still believe we'll avoid relegation.

Javier Pinola: We're trying to play good football despite our current situation in the league, which is a positive thing. It's just a question of finding the results our performances deserve. Nobody is hiding - we're a team. Now it's important that we get some rest and give everything in the second half of the season.
