Munich - FC Bayern München full-back has agreed a new three-year contract with the record titleholders.

The Brazilian's current deal was due to expire in the summer, but the 28-year-old will now stay with the Bavarians until the end of the 2016/17 season. "It's very important for me and my family that I continue to play at one of the best clubs in the world. I'm very proud," he told FCB.tv on Thursday.
