Hamburg - Alexandru Maxim's hit the nail on the head with his analysis of VfB Stuttgart's thrilling 3-3 draw at Hamburger SV.

Hamburger SV

bundesliga.com rounds up the post-match thoughts from the Matchday 9 progatonists.

Pierre-Michel Lasogga: I'm of course happy to have scored, yet it's a shame we didn't get more out of this game than a draw. We were the much better side, created pressure the whole game, but made scoring for them too easy. The game once again proved, however, that we've got some great personalities in our team, players that never give in.

Hakan Calhanoglu: I believe both sides deserved a point. We tried everything to take home a win, but didn't get the reward for our efforts. We passed the ball accurately and very quickly today which shows we're beginning to understand and take on board what the coach [Bert van Marwijk] expects from us.

Alexandru Maxim:: It was a crazy game. We started well, managed to win the ball quickly. Vedo [Vedad Ibisevic] released me brilliantly which allowed me to score the opening goal. I'm glad to be able to finally do well again not having been 100 per cent fit recently.

Christian Gentner:: We weren't solid enough at the back, and having taken the lead three times, the draw makes you feel like you've lost the game. It's of course good to remain unbeaten for quite some time, but we've been dropping too many points, like against Werder Bremen and Eintracht Frankfurt. We need to do better in order to move further up the table.
