Braunschweig - 1. FC Nürnberg's Adam Hlousek was a happy man after finding the net in his side's 1-1 draw with Eintracht Braunschweig, who, for their part, rued a lack of cool in front of goal.

bundesliga.com rounds up the key protagonists' views...

Adam Hlousek: Having returned to professional football after such a long time was just incredible and I'm glad to have scored. But we came here to gain all three points, and in the end we only won one. Nevertheless, it was a great comeback for me and I find it incredible that I'm able to feature in the Bundesliga again.

Raphael Schäfer: We have to work much harder and do much better, in every aspect. Despite putting in a lot of legwork, the opponents seem to be quicker on most occasions. We were hoping to win to kick-start our season, but unfortunately we failed to take a big step.

Karim Bellarabi: We were the much better side and should've scored more goals. It's such a shame we only managed to get a draw after creating so many chances, a little more patience in front of goal would've seen us win this one 6-1. I should've also scored myself after five minutes. Yet our performance today was a massive improvement compared to previous ones. We can do even better, but today we gave an indication of our quality. It was a crucial game, a small final, really, which is why I'm sad we didn't get the three points the club and the fans deserved.

Deniz Dogan: We played incredibly well, and except for the result, there's not much we could've done better. There's great potential in our side, and we showed that today. We were a little too cautious in the previous weeks, this time round we did really well. Unfortunately Raphael [Schäfer] did really well too, while we did our best in finding the net. A big thank you to our fans: they stick with us whether we lose or win, and it makes us extremely proud.
