Frankfurt - were not only the most successful side in the 2012/13 season, they were also the fairest.

Six criteria

The record German champions took first place ahead of FC Schalke 04, with Borussia Dortmund rounding out the top three.

In Bundesliga 2, FSV Frankfurt beat 1. FC Köln to top spot, with promoted side Eintracht Braunschweig coming third. The three clubs received prize money totalling 50,000 Euro, split into increments of 25,000 Euro, 15,000 Euro and and 10,000 Euro respectively. The prize money is to be invested in specific projects within the clubs’ youth acadamies.

The Fair Play tables are calculated on the match reports provided by referees and referee observers. Respect towards opponents and referees, the conduct of club officials and fans, contribution towards the attractiveness of the game as well as yellow cards and red cards are the six criteria included in the overall assessment.
