Schweinsteiger undergoes surgery
Munich - FC Bayern Munich midfielder will be out for ten days following an operation on his right heel.
The 98-time Germany international had a bone fragment removed from his right heel in Zurich on Monday. Schweinsteiger will be returning to Munich on Tuesday and is expected to recover in time for the 2012/13 treble winners' kick off into the new season under new coach Pep Guardiola on 26 June 2013.
