Munich - Outgoing FC Bayern Munich head coach Jupp Heynckes has revealed his side's Matchday 34 fixture away to Borussia Mönchengladbach, another of his former clubs, will be his last as a coach in the Bundesliga.

"The way things are looking, I'll be leaving the Bundesliga," said the 68-year-old. "When you've coached a club like Bayern Munich, breaking almost every record, there's not much left to achieve by coaching another Bundesliga club."

Possible post abroad

Heynckes, who will be replaced by former FC Barcelona coach Josep Guardiola in the Allianz Arena hotseat in the summer, is refusing to rule out another position abroad, though he will not reveal his intended destination until after Bayern's UEFA Champions League final against Borussia Dortmund on 25 May.
