Nuremberg - 1. FC Nuremberg full-back Timothy Chandler will be missing for the remainder of the 2012/13 season after tearing ligaments in his knee during training.

The injury is expected to keep the 23-year-old USA international sidelined for at least three to four weeks, meaning he will be unavailable for selection in der Club's final two games of the season against Fortuna Düsseldorf and SV Werder Bremen. Chandler has featured in 30 matches during the current campaign, scoring once and setting up three goals for team-mates.
