Frankfurt - Eintracht Frankfurt have been boosted by the news that head coach Armin Veh has agreed a new contract with the club.

Chief executive Heribert Bruchhagen revealed on Monday morning that 52-year-old Veh had agreed to stay with the Hessen outfit for another year until June 2014.

Bruchhagen expressed his satisfaction with the news, saying, "I'm very pleased we have reached an agreement that will give the club some continuity in terms of our footballing development."

A press conference is due to be held at the Eagles' Commerzbank Arena on Tuesday afternoon at 13:30 CET.
