Stuttgart – Serbian international Zdravko Kuzmanovic has left VfB Stuttgart after three and half years to sign for Italian giants FC Internazionale Milano.

Hard worker

The 25-year-old midfielder had found first-team opportunities hard to come by for the Swabian outfit of late and has opted for a return to Italy.

Kuzmanovic joined VfB in the summer of 2009 from AC Fiorentina and amassed 96 Bundesliga appearances over the next three and a half seasons, scoring 17 goals. He also played 21 times in Europe for the club, as well as making ten appearances in the DFB Cup.

VfB sporting director Fredi Bobic said of the transfer: "Zdravko really worked hard during his time with the club. He received an offer from Serie A and it was always an option for him to return there one day. We wish him all the best at Inter Milan."
